Aluminum Frame
I ordered 2- 6 foot sticks of extruded aluminum and they have arrived.
The build plate I'm using is from my Hictop measures: x270 and y210.
This means my frame size will be x410 by y313.
The Z height on the Hictop was 195. I'm increasing this to 300.
This will allow taller prints to be obtained.
Overall frame dimensions including 50mm for legs:
X410 Y313 Z545. Usable work area X270 Y210 Z300.
I need to order another 6 feet of aluminum because I'm short 1 main legs and a side rail.
With this and the aluminum saved from the Hictop should be enough.
I'll post some pics once I get something worth posting.
I also ordered allot of screws and misc. parts.
